We look at maths holistically and also teach it this way. Differences between exams are mentioned throughout the course, and the learners can choose to either focus just on "their" parts or embrace additional work to enhance their maths learning.
GCSE students may benefit from different perspectives on some topics and go beyond their syllabus. This is very useful if they'd like to take their maths studies further.
IGCSE students may benefit from techniques focused on mental arithmetic without relying on a calculator at all costs. This is especially useful for everyday life.
Occasionally, students may want to decide later which exam they want to take. Keeping their options open is a win-win.

Yes, both options are possible with us — our courses are tailored and cater for learners at all stages of their studies.

Our groups are put together by level/stage and where the students are right now with their knowledge, not by age or where the students "should be".

No. Each cohort is a fixed‑length GCSE Grade module.

When you enrol, you:

1. Pay a £50 non‑refundable deposit, which covers the first 2 weeks and reserves your place
   
   ...and when you're happy, then...
   
   
2. Commit to the full module fee (either paid in full or via a payment plan)

The payment plan is simply a way to spread the agreed course fee over a few months. It is not a cancel‑anytime subscription.

There is a Fit Guarantee in the first 2 weeks (see below), but after that, your place is fixed for the rest of the block.

That’s exactly what the Fit Guarantee is for.

• Your £50 deposit covers the first 2 weeks of lessons and full resource access
• If, by the end of the second week, you feel it’s clearly not the right fit for your teen, email me by Friday 18th September 2026 (or equivalent of the second teaching week for later Modules) and I will:
  • Cancel your place for the rest of the module, and
  • Refund any payments you’ve made beyond the £50 deposit, or stop any remaining instalments

After this Fit Guarantee window, your place is confirmed for the remainder of the module, and there are no refunds for missed lessons or changes of mind. This keeps the group dynamic stable and fair for all families who’ve committed.

These Modules are designed as group cohorts, not 1‑1. If, after the first couple of weeks, the group drops below a sustainable level (for example, fewer than 5 students), I may decide to stop running that cohort in this format.

If that happens:

• I’ll refund the remaining portion of the module fee (beyond the teaching already delivered), and
• Offer alternatives such as:
  • My self‑paced Maths Club, or
  • A space in one of my smaller personalised groups (when available)

This way, you’re not left out of pocket if the group becomes too small, and I’m not locked into running a full module with numbers that don’t make sense.

You can join slightly late and catch up using the replays and resources, as long as it’s still early in the module. Beyond a certain point, it becomes harder to catch up quickly. If you’re considering a late join, contact me and I’ll let you know if it’s realistic for your teen and where they’d need to start.

When you enrol, I’ll ask a few quick questions about your teen’s current level, confidence, and when they’re aiming to take GCSE. I’ll then confirm which grade module is the best starting point, and we can adjust if needed before the course begins.

Your teen has access to all the video lessons, practice, and resources for the duration of the module, plus the progress tracker. During consolidation weeks, they can use these to revisit anything they found hard, revise, or move ahead.
