Absolutely, yes; in fact, it’s even BETTER when you join us now and kick any budding bad maths habits to the curb rather earlier than later. In our membership, we support students of all ages and at all levels with secondary maths*. The video theory bank is at the moment focused on GCSE level maths (including all KS3 maths topics) for two reasons: this is where most people start having troubles and need more support (so they can access it 24/7 with the videos). This is what most families I work with focus on, so I have the greatest expertise and a resource bank for this area of maths.

Yes! As long as you speak English. Maths, for the main part, is taught in a similar way in many countries. I live in Scotland and was born in mainland Europe; the system and maths are different in these places, yet also very similar. I have worked with students all over the world (from the USA to Australia, from Europe to Asia). While you may need a different syllabus, most of the video theory that’s currently available will be what you’d be covering at a secondary level. And what matters most is our community, where you can get help with what you need. Also, our video theory bank is constantly growing - it only depends on the members of our club what they want to see more of.

This is up to you to decide. If you reflect on your current education plans and see how that’s been working for you, you’ll get your answer. What are tutors, group lessons and online schools if not a form of membership? Although, it’s a membership that your child attends, not you.

If you do great by yourself, carry on with your work - you’re doing awesome. If your child is attending any lessons or classes that are working for them and they’re thriving, you don’t have to change anything.

But if you’re wondering what you could do to make the change you’re looking for, to make learning maths a smooth process and not a chore - then our maths club might be just the right thing for you. Let me tell you a secret - which I don’t keep as a secret anyway: I’m not a teacher either! And I have been successfully helping students learn maths for more than half my life! And you, as a parent, have been successfully teaching your child all their life - perhaps not maths specifically (so here comes my specialist help), but you were teaching them all sorts of life skills without having to be a teacher, and I bet up until now you haven’t been questioning your teaching abilities. It’s not that different with maths.

First of all, while, in your own words, you may not be as good at maths right now as your true potential is, being an active member of our club pretty much guarantees you’ll pick up a trick or two about maths even if you wouldn’t want that. It’s simply a happy by-product; you’re welcome!

I know you may be worried that you don’t have time to master maths to actually teach your child. And that’s ok! That’s what the video theory is for - to guide your child (and you) on the way. You can become your child’s best maths study buddy even if you’re supporting them with maths that’s (currently) above your knowledge level - you can facilitate the learning while giving them the right support. And the right support is what we focus on in our club; in the community with all your questions that I’m always happy to answer, and the live drop-in sessions where the practice meets mastery.

Not at all. You make the membership work for yourself the way you need. While there are big benefits to joining us live, you can always rewatch the replay when it’s convenient for you. You can even ask questions; they’ll be answered even if you don’t join us for the live session.

Of course! That’s why I’m offering the progress tracking bundle as a bonus when you join our club. This is aimed at general secondary knowledge applicable to many curricula (with a little tweak). Also, I keep adding more and more fine-tuned versions to specific curricula (and ages/levels) on demand!

Because we are two in one. A big benefit of a focus-driven community is that you can discuss and brainstorm with them while staying focused on what matters to us, which is maths education. And, of course, a benefit of a resources-based subscription is that you’ll get the resources you need (in this case, the valuable video library for all the tougher as well as more basic maths - covering all your child needs to know for GCSE, highly rated by my own students as “fun and easy to learn from”). I get it; you may be relying a bit more on teachers in your school to teach your child maths, but every little extra help you can provide to your child at home will be a tremendous boost in the long run (and sometimes, even if it's only a short sprint!)

Yes! This membership is meant to help parents become stellar support for their children because, let's face it, children don't always have the maturity and capability to be completely self-accountable. So, parental help is what will help them tremendously on their learning path.

You, as an adult, can do this job for yourself. So, our maths club is the right place to help you on your way too. You'll just fill in both roles - the student and the "study buddy". Unless you rope someone else into the role of your best study buddy - feel free to do that; the more, the merrier, I promise!
